Deb & Hal
All of the recordings on this tape were most likely recorded on the Panasonic model # RQ-309AS shoebox mono cassette recorder.
All recordings were made during the time that Jaffe and McGee lived at Apartment #22, the Chalet apartments building, 821 North Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. The Chalet was historically known as “The Burton”.
All songs have Hal on un-amplified vocal and Debbie on Casio VL-Tone played through a Marlboro brand amplifier (with reverb and tremolo), exceptions noted in italics.
On several of the recordings, there are possibly/probably two two Casio VL-1s being used -- I am not sure if what I am hearing is two VL-Tones or a doubling sound due to the use reverb and tremolo on the Marlboro guitar amplifier.
Side A:
00:00 - 02:43
“All Out Of The Blue Again”
- Hal, unamplified vocal (reading a text that was probably a letter from Debbie’s mom)

05:02 - 09:01 - “My Father Is A Self-Taught Architect”
09:02 - 16:39 - “Mystic Orange” by Viscera
