There is a primitivist hypnotic trance feeling to this music, a mix of electronic, acoustic, toy, and ethnic instruments as well as voice - shifting layers of sound that weave in and out, and I can feel my mind cycling back and forth and through time. It's the kind of music that, while active and moving ever forward, also produces a sense of stillness and an ever-present now.
