Manifesto For The Sake Of Sound

For the sake of sound
I will waste
I will make waste
I will lay waste
For the sake of sound
I will waste tape
I will waste water
I will waste time
I will waste what seems like
...silence
I will waste hair
I will waste skin
For tape
For sound on tape
I will cut myself
I will bleed
I will not weary
I will not fret
For the sake of tape
I don't necessarily expect
everything to go
as I think that I have planned for things to go...
It's important
on a personal basis
to leave myself open
to possibilities that haven't yet occurred to me
Leaving a space so that other sounds can poke through
cannot be considered waste of tape
