REVIEW by Jerry Kranitz
Maz Mitrenke plays a beautiful blend of New Age, space-ambient, and Berlin school electronica. On most of the tracks we’re treated to sequenced propulsion, astral washes, and meditative melodies. Truly mesmerizing, float away to the heavens stuff. At times I imagined Kitaro or Vangelis joining Tangerine Dream. ‘Cumulus’ is slightly different, being a gently tinkling New Age, almost Folk-like ‘pop’ tune. ‘Nemesis’ is the longest and most intense track, with its hurried sequenced pace, percussive crashes, and simple yet catchy melody. Would make a great soundtrack piece. A lovely set.
