Early Jaffe & McGee Tape 7
Picture
Picture
Tape specifics:
Intermagnetics C60. Erasure safety tabs intact. These were removed on 10/04/14. Labeled as “Depression tape, November 1981. Do Not Erase”. No doubt recorded with the Panasonic mono shoebox cassette recorder

Side A:

Deb & Hal - voices, Hal playing acoustic guitar   --- seems very similar to the style of “Live At The Sanctuary”
at 22:35 on Side A there’s a short section that was used on 60 Minutes Of Laughter: Hal exclaiming “I’ve got a…!”

Side B:
More of the same.

8:30-8:36 excerpted as “Tiger Talk” on 60 Minutes Of Laughter
There’s a kind of interesting section starting at about 13:00 with the sounds of running water. “Get clean”.
At about 17:40 there’s a bit where we reiterate “floatin’ on the waves”. I think that a fragment of this might be used on 60 MOL.
about 19:21 to 19:44 was used on 60MOL as “Butchered Calf” by JK & MP
21:46 calliope music from a record that was used on 60MOL
starting at 22:38 there are some experiments with the calliope music in split left and right channels.
- with our voices talking about “three reverse gears”
at 24:39, back to the silly voice improvs, with Hal talking in a bad fake British voice
“you strap yourself into my closet”
These three parts were used on 60 MOL:
 - at about 29:57 “blenders”
 - about 30:10 “purple”
 - at about 30:33 “silly love songs”
