Early Jaffe & McGee Tape 5
Tape Specifics:
Not stored in case upon arrival. Intermagnetics Low Noise High Output 60 minutes cassette. Both write protection tabs were intact; removed 10/3/14.
Side A: Listen above
- October 23, 1981
session with Roger Vice (Invisible Dancers)
- a version of "All Day And All Of The Night" by The Kinks
- a second jam
includes excerpt of “Floatin’ On The Waves” was on 60 Minutes Of Laughter, credited to The Dancing Invisibles
- 5:14 songs from Bob Seger’s A Stranger In Town album [not included in the audio player]
starting with “Still The Same” through “We’ve Got Tonite
- 28:26
sounds like it’s recorded in mono, probably the Panasonic shoebox recorder
Side B: Listen above
No recording dates are given. I am going to guess that this was recorded in October 1981, but I have no way to be sure.
Starts out with acoustic guitar improvisation with some vocals by Hal.
I hear our bird (named “Bird”) chirping in the background.
Debbie joins in on vocals at about 11:00
There is also some percussion (bells, rattlers).
Kinda sorta like faux Plains Indians chanting in places.
Real primitive stuff!
