Side A
00:08 - Unidentified music from a record. Not sure what this is (yet), but I have a suspicion that it is Steve Reich (or one of the other Minimalist composers).
17:10 - new piece
Needle lifts at 25:24.
28:02 - “Trouble In Mind” -- blues song -- until 30:58
Tape side ends at about 31:09. BLANK until the end of the side of tape.
Side B
00:04 - Pre-recorded music from a record. I don’t know what it is, has horns. One of us was doing an experiment with recording the same section of music over and over again onto the same tape, at different speeds.
2:35 there is a section from the same record with multiple voices singing.
03:52 - some kind of orchestral or ensemble music with stringed instruments, of an avant garde Classical sort.
22:26 - completely different kind of music starts - some kind of down-homey-sounding song - "You're Gonna Need Somebody On Your Bond".
26:17 -
28:32 - 30:54 - “Black Woman” from Alan Lomax’s Negro Prison Blues Songs
